Here’s how you start the CoreForce Energy Negative Rep Set. Choose a weight where you can do only five or six negative reps counting down from the top of the negative to the bottom – a count of 5. Try as hard as you can to do more than six reps until your will breaks to keep that negative rep count at 5. I usually do my exercises using only one limb at a time so the other can help in hoisting my body or weight into place to begin the negative sets.
There will be a point where your will breaks. It’s always the mind first. At that point is where CoreForce Energy Negative Rep Sets depart from other negative set routings.
Most will have you quit after you can’t do any more reps with the same count. But, believe me, you have a LOT more in you than quitting now.
Once you know in your heart you can’t do a single more negative rep with a count of 5 is where you know the rule of the CoreForce Energy Negative Rep Set is that you will do one negative rep counting down 6. Yes, painful and you’re increasing the count instead of reducing it! But You’ve still a long way to go to tear the muscle up as well as test your character and will.
Tricking the Body and Brain to Do More
After that rep of six, you reduce the reps to counting off 4 counts. The mind and body feel a big relief by this jump and as funny as it sounds, it quickly creates the atmosphere where your brain tells you body that it’s capable of doing more. Do as many of the 4-court negative reps until your will begins to wain once again. It should be screaming at this point to “Stop!”. You ain’t done my Friend.
Only when you know in your heart you can’t count off 4 counts that you reduce the next to 3. Your muscles will be searing with pain and their voices will sound like an entire choir loudly in your head. That’s a good thing. You’re developing the will to survive brutal torture that will build real muscular strength fast as well as inspire you to extent the limits of your will every time.
That voice inside your head will be signaling you to stop this nonsense and will be rationalizing why exerting less strength for more reps will induce greater strength gains. I hope you shut that stupidity off.
This Is A Brutal Strength Building Set
No, Your Still Not Done! There’s no quitting or crying now little girl! You’ve come way to far in developing raw strength and will. Forge ON!
When you can not longer talk yourself into negative rep countdowns of 3, you begin counting 2′s until you break again.
Most will have quit by this point, but if you want to join the elite club of strength builders, you will continue doing negative reps of 1.
Only then will you know that you fatigued your muscles and will to their core. You will hardly be able to lift yourself up. Your heart will certainly be pounding like you’ve done hill sprints. But for sure, a smile will come on your face because you know you’ve pushed yourself far beyond the limits you would ever go doing any other kind of set.
To me the gym is for building character and an unstoppable will as well as building maximum muscle strength. CoreForce Energy Negative Rep Sets will give you both. Sure pretty muscles look good on the beach and I’m all for that. But if I’m ever in a pinch, I don’t want to rely on kicking sand in an adversary’s face, I’d rather throw a Mac Truck at them.
