Get Extreme Hand Strength While Protecting Yourself From Carpal Tunnel

October 28th, 2008

I have never suffered from the debilitating syndrome called carpal tunnel precisely because of the techniques I share with you in my Finger Gymnastics course. These principles that make my hands extremely powerful and dextrous come from my years experience I’ve gained throughout my lifetime as a concert pianist, magician, martial artist, powerlifter, and all-round exercise aficionado.

Carpal tunnel occurs when the median nerve which runs from the forearm into the hand becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. It can be very painful to say the least. Unfortunately, I see so many people these days wearing these unsightly wrist braces that will supposedly help cure the pain. So far, there is not one person that I’ve asked that has told me that the wrist brace enabled them to go without it and has cured the pain.

I meet thousands of people each week who come up to me all the time after my concerts and ask me how I protect my hands and also why I have such ferociously strong fingers to play like I do while also being able to do two finger pushups without injuring myself. The answers lie precisely in the principles and techniques I teach in both CoreForce Energy and Finger Gymnastics.

Trying to mask the symptoms of carpal tunnel is not the answer - because if you’re gong to go right back to doing the very things that caused it in the first place, you’ll go right back to the pain zone out of pure ignorance. Through my years of practicing 8 to 13 hours a day to win 13 international piano and magic competitions, I have acquired and developed some some powerful exercises and techniques that can help you not only strengthen your hands far beyond any other devices or techniques but to make them dexterous and safe from the pain of carpal tunnel.

These techniques came not only from those two disciplines but from knowledge gained throughout all those very years from training in martial arts, powerlifting, and sculpting all at the same time. That’s a lot of wear and tear on the hands and wrists to have never been injured. I tell you these things not to boast but to show you I walk my talk and that you too can have the same knowledge to protect your hands and to make them insanely powerful and fast.

In drilling my hands relentlessly that many hours and for years on end, I know what I’m talking about from pure experience. Since I make my living doing all of the above, I can’t afford to be injured and can’t afford to be performing wearing one of those ridiculous wrist braces. So you if you want to really know the scoop from someone who not only walks their own talk but who knows from years of testing and experimenting - listen up.

I know exactly what works through years and years and hours a day of throwing out the bad and keeping the good. Not only do I know precisely how to get maximum muscular strength and dexterity from the hands - free from tension, but I know that seating position in height and distance away from a computer, keyboard, or whatever is critical to your success.

Seating position is one of the most important things you should know about to protect the hands from carpal tunnel and to keep it away forever. You need to get it right so your energy flows from the top of your head down to your shoulders. Any break in that energy and pressure on meridians or pressure points themselves constantly throughout the day with your wrists in seemingly harmless positions can bring you severe pain that will reoccur until you know how to stop the endless cycle.

CoreForce Energy super strength

Most people are not even aware that the very way they sit most of the time is draining their energy, their creativity, and frighteningly lessening their strength and dexterity. They live with tension and pain and almost begin accepting that “normal”.

For years, I would experiment sitting at the piano low, high, faraway, close - in every imaginable way. I would move the bench fractions of an inch to find that every new position would have a dramatic consequence that would either strengthen or weaken my abilities. I was in search of how I could sit an play with effortless energy, strength, speed, dexterity, and keep my hands free from tension and injury. These very techniques are what I use to demonstrate raw power in martial arts and strength exercises.

This is why in my course Finger Gymnastics, I teach you precisely how to sit and give you exercises that not only strengthen but give you freedom from movement to move from the entire body - so your power doesn’t come from just the fingers and wrists - but from the entire body and spirit moving as one. That is the way you not only exude the best sound as a musician and artist, but what enables you to produce the maximum power in all that you do.

In my next installment I will tell you how, just with fingertip strength, I effortlessly tossed a 235 pound black belt in jujitsu off his fighting stance 7 feet backwards. I used only my fingertips and no wind up or telegraphing in any way.

Learn how to flow your energy like a chi master, sit properly, while exhibiting extreme fingertip power, by checking out Finger Gymnastics and CoreForce Energy. Both these courses teach you how to move effortlessly with super strength, power, and speed - while helping to keep you injury free like myself.

Why You Should Become a Mentalist

October 22nd, 2008

Finally coming home after months on the road concertizing, it’s great to catch up on a lot of the television programs that we miss.

One that I’ve been enjoying is called the hit series, “The Mentalist”, on CBS. Having been a magician myself from the age of 8, the title obviously caught my eye and inspired some thoughts of why it might be a good idea for all of us to take on the attitude as if we had the powers of The Mentalist.

The Mentalist - Simon Baker

I do some mentalism effects in my shows and have had the pleasure to have met some of the worlds best and exchange trade secrets with them at places like the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Having said that, The Mentalist television series is not about magic per say.

At the beginning of the show they give the definition:
Mentalist - Someone who uses mental acuity, hypnosis and/or suggestion. A master manipulator of thoughts and behavior.

Now here’s the reason why I think we should all try to be mentalists - not magicians or hypnotists - but a master manipulator of thoughts and behavior.

Now I don’t mean mastering someone else’s thou ghts and behavior here. I mean, becoming master of your own thoughts and behavior.

If you made that a goal, I’m certain life would appear completely different to you. Things would be a lot easier. Harsh criticism and negativity would barely faze you.

If you could manipulate your thoughts and behavior, you would be able achieve your goals in a fraction of the time because you wouldn’t take “no” for an answer.

You could develop super strength frighteningly fast when it was YOU who psyched the weights out by lifting them - instead of the weights psyching You out.

Think of all the things you could be if you were a Master Mentalist. Think of the things you could do if you would start today in becoming a master manipulator of your thoughts and behavior.

Think of all the incredible things you could achieve in a short time by shutting down all the negativity that keeps you down physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I think a goal of becoming a master mentalist (magic illusions excluded) is something you might want to take a look at more seriously. I’m certain that making it a goal to become a master mentalist will bring you transformations in your life that seem like real magic.

Honed Mental Focus for the Greatest Strength

October 15th, 2008

I think most of you know the power of taking sun’s rays and adjusting its vast powers into a small point of a magnifying glass. Because of the concentration of power into one small point you get focused burning power that can easily start a fire.

Without the lens concentrated into a small beam of light and for a long enough time, the sun can shine as bright and hot as she wants - but never be quite intense enough to start flames here on earth without the right kind of focus.

We are very much like the sun in a sense. We can psyche ourselves up to be very hot and intense with burning desire and intention. But without all that energy focused with the right intensity over a long enough period in one pinpoint spot, a fire will never start - and our full muscular strength will never be realized.

CoreForce Energy mental focus

Most fail to realize their full potential because they lack the ability to focus their power and concentrate that strength for a longer period than just a few seconds.

Without the knowledge of specifically where to focus your efforts and knowledge of where best to apply them specifically to create fluid athletic movements, then the keenest mental focus in the world isn’t going to create greater strength with burning power and speed.

It’s like a barrage of missiles that are off course and miss their mark. It still doesn’t matter how powerful any one of them are, their force won’t demonstrate their full effectiveness on the target unless they hit right on the money.

So it is with human intention and action, if you’re off the mark even with the greatest of mental focus and passion, you still end up not putting your greatest power where it should be.

In addition, no matter how good you get at focusing all your resources to hitting one target, one of the biggest stumbling blocks is that this practice doesn’t necessarily translate into where and how exactly to apply it to human movement which isn’t remotely like a stationary target. We’re always in constant motion and especially in sports it seems advantageous if our focus could to be in several areas almost at the same time to be most effective.

You will be amazed how fast you improve peak performance and enhance sports performance when you begin spending at least as much time training your brain with mental focus training as you do your body.

P.S. This is why I give you many physical and mental tools in CoreForce Energy to help empower your body and mind to work together to focus the right intensity where it counts the most in living fluid action.

Are You Living Up To Your True Potential?

October 11th, 2008

CoreForce Energy was inspired by my belief that we all are living far below our true potential not only in muscular strength but in realizing and engaging the abundant talents we all have buried inside us.

I remember a long time ago the inspiring Anthony Robbins said that you get intelligent answers by asking intelligent questions. To me, one of the most important questions we can ask every day is, “Am I living up to my true potential?”

If you ask that question in the gym, at school, at home, at work, and ask it every day, I’m sure you’ll find that not only is the answer “No”, but that immediately after answering the question, your brain will search for the answer of “Why Not?!” and “What would I have to do to make that happen?”

See that’s the beauty of intelligent questions, it inspires new ways of thinking and moving.

The problem is, most every day, we concentrate on what we don’t want, how we can make it through to the weekend, how we can follow someone else instead of leading our own destiny by our own answers to our own intelligent questions.

No one else is going to ask you questions that will make you find and activate your inner strength. Sure, they may inspire you, but they won’t ask the questions that will make your brain automatically search for the answers that are buried deep within You.

I’d like to encourage you to ask this question because I believe you have most of the answers to live up to your potential already buried inside you waiting for an intelligent question like this to release its powerful and inspiring answers.

Give it a try and walk into the gym and ask this question, “How could this workout today catapult me to live up to my true potential in muscular strength?”

maximum potential

Ask that question and ask it every time you workout this week, and tell me if you’re starting to think differently; if you’re starting to activate new ways of moving; if you choose different exercises because of it; if you choose different weights and change the number of reps every set. See if your form changes just by asking this question.

Many of you who’ve been wanting to lose weight fast will start changing the very way you workout if you keep asking that question every time you walk into the gym. I bet in no time that you’ll finally begin achieving your goals quickly because you know deep down, it’s your choices that determine your future and most of you know the what you have to do to start living up to your true potential.

I implore you if you’re inspired by just this powerful question - because you already know many of the answers deep down that will propel you to live up to your true potential.

Today is not another day to just get by. Today is a fantastic day where intelligent questions will give you new answers to inspire you to live up to your true potential.
